Day 2 in the Classroom

I arrive at 9:00 am. Period 3 starts at 9:15 am which is the 3-D class. Students arrive into the classroom bringing out their journals. Teacher reminds them of important upcoming dates which should be written down in their journals. This includes due dates for projects, vocabulary quizzes, and so forth. The 3-D students have sketches for their wire sculpture insects in their journals but selected one from which they will create the sculpture from. They use these sketches to work from while forming their wire sculpture. The colored wire is donated from AT&T.

Period 4 is the pre IB, 9th grade, Art I group. They are working on shading circles in their sketchbook  so that no lines are visible. Teacher graded homework assignment in their sketchbook of a corner of room practicing on proportion. Had students come up, told them what they needed to work on, and whether they showed effort. Possible 30 points total.

Period 5 is Photography I, AB, 2-D, IB. This is the teacher's crazy class that is a mixture of different classes. He goes over the assignments, due dates, quizzes for each group up on his dry erase board so each group is reminded of what is coming up. 40+ images will be due for photography. Certain groups of photos need to be put in specifically labeled folders. In their journals they need to annotate how they treated the photo and how it was affected. They need to reflect if they liked the outcome or not and why.
