Day 6 in the Classroom

Period 3 / 3-D / Grading Sketchbooks

Research Workbook Outline Information

The following information should go with your investigation workbook design.
  • Proper heading for each and every page.
  • Date should go in upper, outer area of page.
  • Page numbers should go in lower, outer area of page. 
  • Fill page with your information.
  • Write about the following for each project:
          *  Project requirements (should be a heading)
          *  Project reference image with 3 or more thumbnail/sketches. You need to give/list roughly    
              what you think of the thumbnails.
          *  Refined drawing/sketch listing measurements, idea thought, color scheme, etc. 
          *  Did you look at any artwork/artists/techniques? Explain what you discovered or found out 
              from your observations. 
          *  Reflection from the artwork process, idea, and design.

Period 4 / Pre-IB / Sketching in porprotion / Project 3 - 10 Value Shading of a Composition

60% of your exam for IB is workbook and 40% artwork. 

Research Workbook Guidelines
Pack the page with information. Cite what you did. Independent investigation. Design needs to be nice and neat. Explain yourself in your writing. 
Added:
  • Cite your work.
  • Overall notes from the project.
Period 5 / Photography I & II, AP, IB
AP is about the artwork. Thinking critically. Final exam is the sketchbook.
